Police investigating possible two-man gunfight in West Oak Lane
Two men are in the hospital Friday after a shooting in West Oak Lane the night before, and police are investigating the possibility that they shot one another.
At around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old man was shot in the stomach outside of an apartment complex on the 6200 block of N. 15th St, according to police.
The man was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he remained listed in critical, but stable condition Friday morning.
A 27-year-old man later arrived at Temple University Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. He is listed in stable condition.
Police said the 50-year-old told investigators that the 27-year-old shot him. The 27-year-old has so far been uncooperative, investigators said.
Two different guns were recovered from the scene, according to police.
No charges have been filed in connection with the case which remains under investigation.
