Wissinoming Park assault suspect sought [video]

Police in the 15th District are looking for the man who assaulted a woman in Wissinoming early in the morning on April 8.

According to the police report, a woman was walking along the 5700-block of Frankford Avenue from the Frankford Transportation Center around 3:45 a.m. when a man tried to have a conversation with her.

The man then punched her in the face and carried her behind the Wissinoming Rec Center where he sexually assaulted her and stole $100.

The suspect is described as black male between 25 and 35 years old. He is 6’0″ with a medium build, dark complexion and a beard. At the time of the attack, he was wearing blue jeans, glasses and a red hoodie with a white design or patches on the front and sleeve.
