A pattern flip looms but not before Old Man Winter’s last hurrah continues through tomorrow, forecasters say.

Highs will top out around 40 degrees today under partly sunny skies, according to NOAA. By late tonight, snow showers are possible.

The National Weather Service says a relatively weak clipper system will move through the area but accumulations, if any, will be well under an inch. Snow showers are possible through tomorrow morning.

As the clipper system departs tomorrow, when high temperatures will barely reach beyond the lower 40s, high pressure will move into the region, allowing a warmer air mass to arrive from the south. Skies will gradually clear throughout the day.

Monday’s high will reach around 50 degrees, and the following days will become progressively warmer. Stay tuned for our update tomorrow.
