Windy, dry forecast prompts fire danger advisory

The National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of fast-moving fires due to gusty winds and a dry forecast in Delaware.

The “red flag warning” lasts from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.  Rainfall is running several inches below normal so far this year.  Low relative humidity and winds of 20-to-25 miles per hour are in the forecast for today, with gusts of up to 45 m.p.h. possible.
