Wilmington Trust sues three former vice presidents

Wilmington Trust Corp. is suing three of its former vice presidents who allegedly high-tailed it to a rival in advance of the bank’s acquisition by M&T Bank Corp.

The Associated Press reports Wilmington Trust is suing former veeps Barbara L. McCollum, Robert D. Rosenberg and Paul T. Gordon on grounds that they “misappropriated confidential business information” to their new employer, Citi Private Bank, and recruited colleagues from Wilmington Trust’s Wealth Advisory Services to join them at the Philadelphia-based bank.
