Earlier this week, Wilmington police officer Julian Michel was arrested and later fired.

According to Wilmington Police, the rookie cop was charged with one count of “terroristic threatening” related to an off-duty incident, Tuesday.

The investigation of his off-duty behavior prompted an internal review, which led to Michel’s termination from the department.

Michel was arraigned and released on unsecured bond. He had only been on the job for one year.
