Williams charges 11 in Philadelphia insurance fraud scheme
Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has charged 11 people with insurance fraud, WHYY’s Lizz Fiedler tells us, including a lawyer, a Philadelphia police officer, seven vehicle damage appraisers and two vehicle repair professionals, all of whom worked together to file multiple fraudulent insurance claims. These charges are a result of a lengthy undercover investigation by the DA’s Office.
