Whale sighting off Spring Lake on Saturday

Have you ever seen a whale off New Jersey?

It’s not uncommon, as whales feed in the region during the warmer months before heading back to the tropics for the winter.

Jersey Shore Hurricane News received documentation of a spotting off Spring Lake yesterday. David Hanson says that he witnessed the show about two miles off the coast. He captured the above photo and filmed the whale breach a few times.
