It’s National Watermelon Day, which of course calls for a celebration.
Meal Ticket reports City Tap House is going all out with seed-spitting, watermelon beers and an eating contest. Proceeds from the contest will go to the Ronald McDonald House, and the winner gets a pretty great prize, too — Phillies tickets.
Wear a costume if you want bonus time for the eating contest. We suggest a Phanatic/watermelon combo.
