The sounds of Eastern European music came alive last night in Pastorius Park. In the final concert of the summer season, the West Philadelphia Orchestra performed to a crowd of several hundred in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia.
Yesterday was also the annual Police, Fire Fighters, and Postal workers picnic. It was free food the them and their families.
