West Oak Lane 7-Eleven robbed

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven in West Oak Lane on Sunday.

At 7:11 p.m., an unidentified black male entered the store and placed items on the counter. He pulled out a plastic bag, handed it to a 19-year-old male employee and then demanded money. 

When the employee hesitated, the suspect pulled out a handgun and said, “this is a robbery.”

The employee placed $200 in the bag and suspect fled the store. He was last seen going west on 78th Avenue on foot.

The suspect is described as a 5’6″/5’7″ black male between the ages of 20 and 25 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with a dark-colored Northface logo on the front, black sweatpants, a black knit hat and black gloves.
