West Goshen Police Chief set to retire Monday
A change of command is set to take place in West Goshen Monday as Police Chief Michael Carroll makes his retirement official.
The Daily Local News reports officers on Saturday gave the chief a formal farewell by lining up in formation to greet him as we walked into the station in the morning.
The formation included dispatchers and police officers from neighboring West Chester and members of the West Chester Regional Emergy Response Team.
Saturday’s farewell extended into the evening, as Chief Carroll was honored at a banquet in front of hundreds of officers and their families.
The Daily Local News reports Capt. Joseph Gleason will take over as chief on Tuesday.
