West Chester University to begin broadcasting on borough TV station

West Chester University has reached a deal with Borough Council to broadcast university content on the Public, Educational, Government cable channel.
Students will help produce eight hours work of content per month for the channel, which Verizon will activate soon. The Daily Local reports the one-year-contract requires the university to operate all equipment for the production. The borough will have to work any of its own content around the university’s program.

Two programs already in the works; one highlights campus athletics, and the other will feature interviews with senior faculty members.
