West Chester Area School District’s collection raises eyebrows

    After an East Bradford family lost most of its belongings in a fire last month, the West Chester Area School District decided to take up a collection.

    The Hillsdale Elementary School PTO is leading the charge and intercepting the donations, but as West Chester Patch reports, the school district has posted a call for donations on its website.

    This prompted some comments from Patch readers, who question whether the family’s political ties have anything to do with the collection.
