Water Department closes portions of West Allens Lane and Wissahickon Ave
The following roads are closed due to work by the Philadelphia Water Department.
West Allens Lane is closed between Wissahickon and Wayne Avenues. This is a very small section that runs 200 feet.
Wissahickon Avenue is closed between Mt. Airy Avenue and Allens Lane.
Laura Copeland, spokeswoman for the Water Department, said crews will be replacing a water main and valves.
