Wegmans win
Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court ruled today that Wegmans plays by the rules. An appeal from beer distributors alleging the supermarket chain violated selling laws was lost.
Per the state Supreme and Commonwealth courts, the restaurants housed in Wegmans locations can legally sell beer, Action News reports.
Much to the chagrin on beer distributors, the ruling could open up doors for other similar operations.
