Weekend News Briefs: 2/3 – 2/5

Friday — Police are investigating the circumstances that led to a Wissinoming man being fatally stabbed inside his home. The 50-year-old was found dead around 11:30 Friday night on the 6200-block of Cottage Street. No further details have been released.

Saturday — A three-car crash left three people injured Saturday nigh in Lawncrest. The vehicles crashed around 7 :30 near Adams and Tabor avenues, sending the victims to the hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined.

Sunday — Residents of the 3000-, 3100-, and 3200-blocks of Knorr Street in Mayfair awoke Sunday to find their cars had been vandalized. Two dozen cars had been spray painted with racial slurs, according to reports, and others were covered in a gooey substance. The three blocks are bound by Battersby Street and Rowland Avenue.
