Voters weigh in on new polling ID laws, impact Ryan will have on Romney campaign

Of the states that have added voter ID laws since the last presidential election, perhaps Pennsylvania shines brightest in the spotlight given its status as a key swing state.

Frank Newport, editor-in-chief of the Gallup Poll, joins NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller to break down how voters feel about being required to show ID before being able to vote.

Newport also discusses the impact Congressman Paul Ryan will have on the Mitt Romney ticket and polls.

In previous elections, vice presidential additions to a ticket have had an effect on the polls, but Newport points out, we really won’t have a good idea of Ryan’s impact until the days leading up to the Republican National Convention.
