Video shows attack on Germantown brothers

While family members look for answers in the beating of two brothers, police look for suspects.

No arrests have been made yet in the attack caught late last week on two brothers along the 4900-block of Wayne Avenue in Germantown.

Action News obtained surveillance video from New Kitchen Chinese Takeout where 20-year-old Zackary Smith and his brother were ordering food around 1 a.m. Sept. 1.

Footage shows a group of men enter the restaurant and pretend to pal around with Smith before dragging him outside and beating him and his brother. Smith, who is developmentally delayed, was treated at Temple University Hospital for a broken jaw, dislocated teeth, fractures, scrapes, black eyes and possible neurological damage.

Authorities are asking anyone who may know someone in the footage seen below to call 911. Smith’s family says Smith does not know his attackers.
