Victorino to stop by mayor’s office
Even with a thumb injury, Shane Victorino is a happy camper.
The Phillies outfielder is due to swing by Mayor Nutter’s office this morning to thank him and the city for voting him into the MLB All-Star game, according to a tweet from Nutter’s special assistant, Luke Butler.
Diehard Phils fans quickly carried Victorino to the No. 1 spot in the vote, even taking to Twitter to round up support.
