Upper Darby High students arrested in school for bullying, attempted hanging

    Police entered Upper Darby High School this morning to arrest seven students involved in a serious bullying incident earlier this month. The school is expected to hold a press conference later today.

    Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood told the Delaware County Daily Times the 16- and 17-year-old offenders can be seen on video kidnapping, bullying a hanging on a fence post a 14-year-old classmate.

    The victim did not sustain any serious physical injuries from the Jan. 11 incident. At the afternoon press conference, the school superintendent is expected to release the video.
