U.S. Education Secretary talks to DE school leaders

    Arne Duncan’s visit was part of a day-long conference focused on improving education in Delaware.

    As part of a day-long conference focusing on Delaware’s plan to improve schools, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan visited Newark Tuesday.  Duncan’s address is part of  Vision 2015, an effort to make Delaware’s schools among the best in the world by the year 2015.  Delaware Secretary of Education Lillian Lowery and Governor Jack Markell (D) also spoke at the conference.
