Two injured as SUV collides with school bus in East Mt. Airy

A man and a woman were injured Friday morning when their SUV collided with a school bus in the 1300 block of E. Cliveden St., according to 6abc.

There were no children aboard the bus at the time of the 6:30 a.m. crash., and the driver was uninjured, according to the report.

A NewsWorks call seeking information from the School District was not immediately returned later Friday morning.

Two people — both reportedly in their 20s — in the SUV, which also smashed into a brick wall, were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Police are still investigating the cause of the East Mt. Airy crash.
