Rep. DeLissio announces October town hall meeting lineup

Rep. Pamela DeLissio of Pennsylvania’s 194th legislative district will be holding three town hall meetings in the area this month.

In a statement released on Monday, DeLissio said the focus of the meetings will be on housing and services for seniors, and state funding for intellectual disabilities and behavioral health services.

“State budget cuts have affected many human service programs and I want to hear directly from my constituents about how program cuts are having an impact on their lives,” DeLissio said. “Also, we have the fourth largest population of older adults in the country and need to better plan and develop public policy to meet our seniors’ needs.”

DeLissio says the meetings will also include discussions on the legislative priorities for the fall session of the state House.
