Tow truck driver will get trial for rival’s death

Tow truck driver Glen McDaniel will go to trial for the death of rival Ray Santiago. McDaniel was held today on murder charges, the Associated Press reports.

The 26-year-old is charged with 30-year-old Santiago’s death, which was the result of an ongoing turf war between the drivers’ companies. Surveillance video shows Santiago being run over three times last fall as witnesses looked on. DUI charges against McDaniel have been dropped.
