Toll on Route 422? State Reps to hold public formum

How would you feel about a toll on Route 422?  On Tuesday, Upper Providence drivers will get the chance to speak up about a proposal to add a toll to their commute along Route 422.

The Mercury reports State Reps. Warren Kampf (R-157th Dist.) Marcy Toepel (R-147th Dist.) Mike Vereb (R-150th Dist.) and Tom Quigley (R-146th Dist.) have encouraged residents to attend a public forum to discuss the proposal Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Pope John Paul II High School.

The proposal was unveiled in June by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.

Organizers of the public forum say the goal is to ensure the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission hears what drivers have to say about the proposal.
