Today is ‘Take a Kid Fishing Day,’ and poles are provided

Delaware’s wants to hook some new anglers, for life.

As part of an ongoing initiative, Delaware’s Division of Fish and Wildlife wants you to ‘Take a Kid Fishing,’ today May 12, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at Killens Pond State Park in Felton.

While program is a way to teach the techniques of fishing, it’s also a way to reach out to the kids in your life by providing an opportunity for conversation.
