Thousands of Harrisburg residents without power

    Thousands of residents in the Harrisburg area woke up without power Sunday morning after Hurricane Irene moved through parts of Pennsylvania.

     

     

    According to Pennlive.com, more than 58,000 homes are part of a five-county midstate county outage.

    Pennlive.com reports Cumberland County is experiencing the highest number of outages, with 20,538.

    Homes across the state, including 21,000 in Philadelphia are without power following Hurricane Irene.
