Things get heated between resident and mayor’s family at Darby Council meeting

Well here’s something you don’t see everyday.

Let’s switch over from the usual antics of the Philadelphia School Reform Commission meetings to those at last night’s Dabry Council meeting, where a question posed by a resident led to two near-fights between him and Mayor Helen Thomas’ family.

Aaron Howell III asked why Thomas has no formal office at the borough’s administration building. What followed were two almost-altercations between Howell and Thomas’ husband and daughter, according to this Delaware County Daily Times report.

It all plays out in the above video, taken by former Darby Mayor Paula Brown. If you’re watching, expect some foul language and a middle finger.
