The Wissahickon’s goats say goodbye to Philly [photos]

Since 2010, a group of goats have called the Wissahickon their home. On Sunday, the herd – Rodin, Wyeth, Kandinsky, Caravaggio, Goodwin, and the late Andy Warhol – said goodbye.

They have been part of a study on invasive removal options led by the Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) for the last three years. Yvonne Post, the owner, recently annouced that she’ll be taking the goat herd on the road to talk about sustainable weed control and eventually moving them to their new home in Oregon.

A group of well-wishers gathered on Sunday morning to wish them good luck on their journey.
