Chestnut Hill credit card thief arrested

Yolonda Millhouse, 43, of N. 12th St. in Olney was arrested last week in connection with the crimes, which began with the theft of a wallet from a car parked on the 7600 block of Crittenden St. in Chestnut Hill.

Millhouse was arraigned on May 26 on charges of forgery, receiving stolen property, identity theft and theft from a vehicle. As of Sunday, she had not posted bail and remained in custody at the Riverside Correctional Facility on State Road.

On May 22, 2012, at 6:45 p.m., the complainant parked his vehicle on the 7600 block of Crittenden St. The next morning he found that his wallet, which contained several credit cards, were missing from the car.

Millhouse was later captured on surveillance cameras using the stolen credit cards at several locations, according to police.

Her preliminary arraignment hearing is scheduled for June 11.
