The Pennsylvania Dutch Festival returns to Philly, August 8-10

Craving some shoofly pie? Well then you’re in luck.

The Pennsylvania Dutch Festival returns this week to Reading Terminal Market in the center concourse. Amish vendors will be set up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 8th, 9th, and 10th selling homemade sweets, fresh vegetables and delicious cheese, as well as home decor such as handmade quilts and furniture.

On Saturday, the event will “erupt into a giant Pennsylvania Dutch country fair” on Arch Street and there will be a petting zoo, live music, and buggy rides.

The event is free to attend, and all goods are “pay as you go.”
