Temple will announce agreement with Fox Chase Cancer Center

Temple University Health System will announce today a “definitive agreement” with Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Temple already has four facilities: its North Philadelphia hospital, Episcopal Hospital in Kensington, Jeanes Hospital in Fox Chase and the hospital’s Northeastern campus in Port Richmond. FCCC, meanwhile, has been operating since 1904 on its own Northeast campus near the Montgomery County border.

At 2 p.m., Larry R. Kaiser, senior executive vice president for health sciences of Temple University, dean of Temple University School of Medicine and president & CEO of Temple University Health System; and Michael V. Seiden, president and CEO of Fox Chase Cancer Center will announce the agreement between the two care providers.
