    Time for air conditioning.

Under bright skies, with temperatures surging into the 80s Monday — away from the immediate coast — it will feel like summer. If you’re heading to the beach, expect temperatures in the upper 70s.

But by Wednesday, with a cool onshore flow returning, temperatures will drop back to the low 60s, according to the National Weather Service.

So we won’t be skipping the remainder of spring.

Tuesday will be the transitional day. Temperatures will remain warm, but cooler, and a system will push through the area with showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
