Table games arrive at Philadelphia area casinos

    The two Pennsylvania casinos in our area are adding table games.

    Bob Guidice is manager of table games at Harrah’s Chester Casino.  He says they have all the usual table games now.

    “We have blackjack, craps roulette mini and midi baccarat Pai Gow, four-card poker three card poker, let it ride, the full gambit of games that enthusiasts are used to, 86 table games  25 poker games for a total of 111.”

    State Representative Nick Miccarelli tossed the first pair of dice to kick off the test gambling.  He says it’s good for the community.

    “Well it means 500 jobs for the people in this area.  You hear a lot about job creation, this is actual job creation.”

    The test games benefited two charities, including the Chinatown Development Corporation in Philadelphia.  Real gambling is expected to start Sunday after state casino officials review the test information.
