Suspects arrested in Mt. Airy copper pipe theft

Willie Reed and Ralph Jarvis were arrested on Sunday fora  March 17 copper pipe burglary that took place in the “E” building of the 126 West Allens Lane apartments in West Mt. Airy.

 

At 3 a.m. on March 17 a surveillance video shows the two breaking into the builidng. They left and re-entered the building after several minutes, returning with bolt cutters. They proceeded to take $70 worth of copper pipe from the building.

A 14th District officer recognized the suspects from the surveillance video and an arrest followed.

Reed (left),33, is from the 30 block of Mt. Airy Avenue. 

Jarvis (right),47, is from the 600 block of West Cliveden Street.

Both suspects have been charged with burglary and related offenses.
