Suspect named and reward offered in sexual assault of elderly Germantown woman

Philadelphia Police and the U.S. Marshals Service are seeking a 24-year-old man suspected in the Friday night sexual assault and burglary of an elderly woman in Germantown.

According to police, Ronald Gregory allegedly entered the victim’s home on the 5300 block of Wayne Ave. through an unlocked door around 11 p.m.

The victim awoke to see the unknown man standing in her bedroom. He then sexually assaulted the woman and stole $200 in cash and a money order, police said.

Gregory is described as an African-American male about 5-feet 9-inches tall weighing 185 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his forearms, behind his right hand and right ear.

There is a $2,500 reward in the case.
