Surveillance video of Rite Aid robbery released

On Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 8 p.m., 14th District officers responded to a 9-1-1 call of an armed robbery in progress inside the Rite Aid Store located at 1315 East Washington Lane in Germantown.

When officers arrived, they found three employees in handcuffs but uninjuried.

Just as the store closed, three armed males entered into the store and demanded money. They handcuffed the employees and took $3000 in cash, lottery tickets, cigarettes and cigars prior to fleeing the store.

* Black male 30’s, 6’2′ 250lbs, light brown complexion, black shirt, tan pants, black baseball cap.

* Black male 20’s, 5’8″, 150lbs, dark brown complexion, black Tee shirt, black shorts, black Phillies baseball hat

* Black male, 20’s, 5’7″, 175lbs., medium brown complexion, white Tee shirt with black shirt underneath, white basketball shorts

All three men are considered armed and dangerous.
