Surveillance photo may show University of Delaware serial flasher

Police at the University of Delaware have released a surveillance photo they hope will lead to the arrest of the man behind a string of indecent exposure incidents near campus.

Since the spring semester of 2011, UD Police have received eight calls about a man exposing himself to people in the area of Townsend and Worrilow Halls.  Most of the incidents happened between 8 p.m. and midnight. Typically, he’ll hide in the bushes and then target college-age women.

Now, they say a man seen in a surveillance photo may be responsible for the ongoing incidents.  He’s described as a 25- to 30- year old white man, weighing 175 to 190 pounds, between 5’10” and 6′ tall.  Anyone who sees the suspect is asked to call UD Police at 302-831-2222.  If you know the suspect’s identity, call the Criminal Investigations Unit 302-831-7433 or email ciu-udpd@udel.edu.
