Sun, clouds today

Our stretch of pleasant weather continues. Some areas are currently experiencing cloud cover, including here in South Seaside Park. We’ll have a mixture of sun and clouds today. No precipitation is expected. Similar conditions are expected tomorrow, and the weekend looks sunny. The late weekend coastal storm will not impact land but could generate an increased risk of rip currents as long period swells arrive.
Through the weekend, temperatures will generally be around 70 at the coast and low to mid 70s inland. Lows will drop down to the mid to upper 40s in the mountains, around 50 inland, and mid to upper 50s at the coast.
BOAT/BEACH: A calm day for the beach or boat. This image is from 10:40 a.m. today in Ocean City via TheSurfersView.com. Breakers and ocean swells are running around two feet, and there is a low risk of rip currents (with lifeguards off-duty at most beaches, exercise extreme caution). The ocean temperature is in the mid to upper 60s.
