Summer Solstice celebration draws more than 40 artists

    The Kimmel Center’s annual Summer Solstice celebration returns today with 14 hours of fun.

    More than 40 artists will perform various acts of music, dance and parades throughout multiple venues in the Kimmel Center, and the mock Eiffel Tower will feature an afternoonl light show.

    The Philly Fanatic will be walking about in the early afternoon, along with other family-friendly events such as paint-by-numbers mural art.

    Bring an empty stomach since Wolfgang Puck Catering will provide pizza, beer and wine samplings at The Lounge by Wolfgang Puck on Tier 1 from 5-9 pm.  The PECO bar will serve all-American food all day and will function as a full bar.
