Strong winds cause power outages throughout the region

    Hold on to your hats in the Delaware Valley this evening.

    The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that strong winds have caused 20,000 PECO customers to lose power throughout the region.

    A high winds warning of 25 to 35 miles an hour with frequent gusts of 50 to 60 miles an hour has been issued by the National Weather Service until 9 p.m. tonight.
