Stolen pet Chihuahua reunited with owner

A pet Chihuahua, stolen during a burglary in which a mini-van and $37,000 worth of jewelry were also taken, has been reunited with its owner.

New Castle County Police say Little-Bit, a four-year-old Chihuahua, was recovered at an undisclosed location in Wilmington based on information received by officers.  The dog appeared to be doing well and is back with the family.

The Chihuahua was taken Monday afternoon from a home on Emerald Ridge Drive in Bear.  The stolen vehicle is a red 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport with a large dent in the right rear quarter panel.
