Steele withdraws from RNC race

    Michael Steele has withdrawn from the race for chairman of the Republican National Committee. The incumbent, who is the first African American RNC chair, announced his withdrawal just a short time ago.
    CNN reports Steele has asked his delegates to support Maria Cino, who served as CEO of the Republican National Convention in 2007-08.
