State Trooper injured in icy crash
The trooper was heading north on Route 1 when his car hit black ice and started to spin.
State Police say the three year veteran who works out of Troop 7 lost control of his marked cruiser heading over the Route 1 bridge over the Misipillion River in Milford around 4:40 AM. After hitting the black ice on the bridge, the cruiser spun and hit a bridge abutment. The car then spun across the median and into the southbound lanes of travel. He was treated for minor injuries at Milford Memorial Hospital and released.
