“I encourage anyone who is looking for a refreshing chat on state-government reform to stop by, enjoy a Popsicle and share an idea,” DeLissio said in a press advisory. “As the 194th Legislative District takes on a new shape this year, I also welcome soon-to-be district residents to attend, as well. As always, please feel free to bring a neighbor and a friend.”

The district lost a portion of East Falls and gained portions of Montgomery County through redistricting.

Topics to be discussed Monday include redistricting, campaign finance, election code, gift and hospitality bans, term limits and the size of the legislature. Free parking is available in the Jamestown (Avenue) Parking Lot.

Also on DeLissio’s upcoming schedule is a Sept. 3 Tele-Town Hall.

According to the advisory, “phones within the 194th Legislative District will ring around 7 p.m. Those interested in ‘attending’ should stay on the line. Those wanting to be sure they receive the call should contact DeLissio’s district office at (215) 482-8726.”

Those seeking more information about the events can also call (215) 879-8533.
