State government offices in Kent County are closed Monday due to the snowstorm.
Nonessential state employees are directed not to report for work Monday. Essential state employees are to report at their scheduled times. City of Dover offices are also closed.
Drivers were discouraged under a Limited State of Emergency from traveling on the roadways unless there is a “significant safety, health or business reason to do so.” The Limited State of Emergency was lifted at noon.
