Reporter Lizz Fiedler raised a good point at today’s morning news meeting: why are women in Kensington still roaming the streets despite the cold and new dangers presented by the Kensington Strangler? According to Mary DeFusco, the director of training and recruitment at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, it’s about more than hunger and drug addiction.

Lizz talked to DeFusco about what these women need to get off the street and what Project Dawn Court is doing to help. Radio Times also did a story on North Philadelphia prostitution scene, in which Marty Moss-Coane talked to JDeFusco and eff Deeney.
