Slot machine revenue holding steady at Pennsylvania’s casinos

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board says slot machine revenue from the state’s casinos held steady last month compared with last year’s numbers.

The 10 casinos took in $197,174,198 from slots in October, compared with $197,459,415 in October 2010. Though last weekend’s nasty weather kept some gamblers away, two casinos managed to show gains last month.

Of the 10, only SugarHouse and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs had revenue increases — 19.95 percent and 2.55 percent, respectively.
