Site work underway at JKR’s Queen Village townhome development

JKR Partners is doing the literal groundwork at its 75-townhome BridgeView development in Queen Village, where the I-95 Washington Avenue off-ramp meets Columbus Boulevard.

“They are really doing what they said they were going to do,” said Richard Wolk, Queen Village Neighbors Association’s representative to the Central Delaware Advocacy Group, at a recent CDAG meeting. Wolk was referring to the fact that others have proposed projects for the unusual spot, but nothing ever came of those plans.

He noted that the land is being terraced to raise the project above the flood plain.

Since the builder is using pre-fabricated elements, “it’s going to come together very fast,” Wolk said.
